About
The Developer of the Model
The CPR Leadership Alignment Model emerged from my work as an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), partnering with leaders navigating growth, responsibility and increasing organisational complexity.
Over more than 25 years across business, non-profit and coaching environments, I have worked with individuals carrying significant responsibility in demanding contexts, including roles requiring sustained decision-making under pressure and accountability for others. Across these settings, a consistent pattern became clear: leadership challenges are rarely caused by a lack of capability, but by a lack of alignment.
The CPR Model reflects this observation.
It brings together three dimensions, Character, Purpose and Responsibility, as a way of understanding leadership not simply as performance, but as coherence. When these dimensions are aligned, leaders are better able to act with clarity, consistency and integrity, particularly in complex or high-stakes situations.
My coaching practice aligns with the standards and ethics of the International Coaching Federation and integrates this model within a reflective, human-centred approach to leadership development. The model is not a theoretical construct, but a practical framework shaped through lived experience, coaching practice and ongoing reflection.
It is designed to support leaders who are seeking not only effectiveness, but alignment between who they are, what they are called to do and how they take responsibility in the contexts they lead.
At its core, the CPR Model is an invitation to lead with alignment, where Character, Purpose and Responsibility are not separate concerns, but held together in practice.

The approach underlying the CPR Model is integrative, principle-centred and development-oriented. It recognises the complexity of leadership while offering clear and practical frameworks for reflection and action.
The work is grounded in reflective practice, attention to context and a focus on responsibility and alignment rather than short-term performance alone. It is designed to support leaders in thinking clearly, acting consistently and maintaining integrity in demanding environments.
All work is conducted in alignment with the ethical expectations associated with the International Coaching Federation at PCC level.
